Changing from plastic bags to paper bags highlights the response of Korean snack producers to environmental protection consumers
Snack bags rely on Dow™️ Sarin™️ For seal integrity
South Korean consumers are concerned about food quality, packaging integrity and environmental impact reduction, encouraging food production companies to replace paper bags with all plastic bags previously used. This initiative also includes changing packaging printing technology from intaglio printing to solvent-free flexible printing to reduce printing related emissions; in addition, a recycling plan for product distribution boxes has been launched. These new changes are promoted by the new 'green packaging' logo used on the new snack bags. Using paper instead of OPP film in the outer (printing) layer of snack packaging bag can reduce the total amount of packaging plastic by 40%. New packaging has been found everywhere in the country, such as large shopping malls or small shops.
