Dow™ Nucel™ Resin

A high quality of acid copolymer

Dow™ Nucel™ plastic resin is a copolymer of ethylene and methacrylic acid or acrylic acid. Therefore Nucel™ processing temperature in extrusion or injection can be little lower than polyethylene. Its performance characteristics include excellent toughness, light weight, and good durability against harsh chemical environments. 

Nucel™ resin provides excellent bonding strength to foil, nylon, paper and other polar materials. As a sealing layer in lamination and co-extruded structures, Nucel™ prevents delamination and seal failure, even in very harsh environments, due to its excellent hot tack strength, low heat seal temperature, and good toughness.
